History
Voerzio Martini is a new company, but one with a great history, since it represents the continuity of the Gianni Voerzio winery in La Morra, an important reality of the Langa born in 1986. Gianni Voerzio's experience as an established "vigneron" matured over the years has been joined by the innovative ideas of the young siblings Mirko and Federica Martini. The name of the company includes the surname of the founder, Voerzio, and that of the current owners, Martini.
People
Federica and Mirko, now owners of the winery, are committed to carrying on a historic winery in the Barolo Langa. Mirko is an oenologist, while Federica is mainly dedicated to the commercial side.
Vineyards
Federica and Mirko have recently purchased a plot in the prestigious "Cerequio" cru in La Morra and one in the "Monvigliero" sub-zone in Verduno, two important vineyards to add to the approximately 12 hectares already owned by the company.
Wines
The wines that the company currently produces are: Barolo classico, Barolo “La Serra”, Langhe Nebbiolo, Barbera D’Alba, Dolcetto D’Alba, Langhe Freisa and Langhe Arneis.
