Beni Batasiolo

Frazione Annunziata,87 | La Morra CN

History

Beni di Batasiolo si the story of the Dogliani family, which has lived the world of wine in the Langhe for almost 50 years: the territories that made Piedmontese wines famous worldwide. The Dogliani brothers decided to give a new name to these holdings, and they got inspired by the Batasiolo vineyard, where the heart of the winery itself is located. This is how Beni di Batasiolo – surrounded by the soft lines of the homonymous vineyard – started its life.

People

Active in the world of wine for three generations, the Dogliani brothers bought in 1978 the historical Kiola in La Morra, founded in the 1950s; they became the owners of a winery that currently counts nine farmsteads and an area with vineyards over 110 hectares.

Vineyards

The farmsteads are located in the prestigious Barolo area and, in particular, in La Morra, with the vineyards Batasiolo, Morino, Cerequio and Brunate; in Serralunga d’Alba with the vineyards Boscareto and the historical Corda della Briccolina; in Barolo with the vineyards Bricco di Vergne and Zonchetta and in Monforte d’Alba with the vineyards Tantesi and Bofani.

Wines

Barolo is the emblem of the winery's wine production, the real spearhead, and the Beni di Batasiolo is proud to be able to represent five different crus from the privileged hills of Monforte, Serralunga and La Morra: Barolo Briccolina, Barolo Boscareto, Barolo Brunate, Barolo Bussia and Barolo Cerequio.
